RESTORE: Through the landscape,
we have an opportunity not only to
create places of beauty, but also to
restore and remediate the land.
CONNECT: Ecosystems are not only an essential part of life, but can also serve as a metaphor for the built environment. I think about ways our homes, neighborhoods and cities can be redesigned based on the ecological principles of interdependence.
PLACE: Every place is unique. I work to unfold the layers found on each site and in its region -- socio-cultural, economic, material, environmental and spatial.
COLLABORATE: By working together in a creative process, a new common ground can be formed, even in the most divided and contentious arenas.
